Other than the weather, perhaps the biggest reason why British people don’t visit Germany very often, and vice versa, is the people. By that, I don’t mean that we hate each other (though we’ve had our moments), but actually because we’re more similar to one another than either would like to admit. It’s no coincidence that British and German tourists can usually be found in the same parts of Spain and the Mediterranean, it’s because we think alike!
